For a few days each summer, Silves becomes a place of music, makers, stories, and spectacle. We are imagining a small group staying close to the heart of town, with the freedom to follow a sound down a lane or retreat to the courtyard when the day has been full.
There is no need to know the right history, wear the right thing, or be festive every hour. Come curious. Let the fair surprise you, and let the house hold the quieter parts of the week.
The most memorable evening may be the one you did not plan.

Our centuries-old palace in Silves is being restored as Where We Become's future retreat home. Retreats there are planned to begin in August 2027, subject to restoration progress. For this gathering, the courtyard, quiet corners, and the town beyond would offer a welcome counterpoint to the festival streets.
Accommodation, room options, Silves Medieval Fair dates, and retreat inclusions remain unconfirmed. We will share details as they are finalized.
