Our June venue

Morgado do Quintão

This Algarve vineyard estate is the home base for our June retreat. Its vineyard cottages, wine experiences, and Farmer's Table offer a distinctive setting for the week. We will also visit Silves, explore the Where We Become palace, and share a relaxed courtyard meal.

The Invitation

Not another thing
to work on.

You do not need another workshop telling you how to improve your life, another habit to master, or another breakthrough to chase. Maybe what you need is a little space: to laugh, to wander somewhere beautiful without an agenda, to enjoy a long meal, or to sit quietly without wondering what you should be doing next.

This is not an escape from your life. It is a chance to feel present in it. Over six nights in the Algarve, the rhythm brings together vineyard days, a coastal outing, time in Silves, and the simple pleasure of being here together.

Long tables. Salt water. Nowhere else to be.

Brit, founder of Where We Become, in Silves

Your host, Brit

I wanted a place to put the list down.

For years, I listened to the podcasts, read the leadership books, built businesses, raised a family, and kept asking what I could do better. I loved growing, until personal growth started to feel like another job.

I created Where We Become for women who want to pause without turning rest into another project. I will host this week, speak with you before arrival, and help the group feel familiar before we meet in Portugal.

Fifteen women. No name tags.

The Invitation

For the woman who's been everything to everyone

✦

You've built a life you're proud of but rarely stop long enough to enjoy it

✦

You've spent years caring for people, leading, building, or figuring out what's next

✦

You love learning and growing, but are tired of feeling like there's always something to improve

✦

You want time for laughter, good food, fresh air, and conversation that goes beyond work

✦

You are curious about Portugal and want to experience it in good company

✦

You cannot quite explain why you need this. You just know you do

The experience arc

01

Arrive

Put down the roles and expectations for a little while.

02

Unbecome

Notice what you have learned to carry, without needing to discard what matters.

03

Be

Make room for joy, rest, connection, and Portugal.

04

Carry it home

Leave with what matters, not another list of things to fix.

Nothing to fix. Nothing to prove.

Room for deeper rest

Curious about Reiki, a sound bath, or energy work? Practitioner-led sessions are included and always optional. Join what calls to you, or spend the day at the beach with a book.

Reiki

A practitioner-led session for quiet, rest, and reflection.

Sound bath

A guided sound experience for listening and reflection.

Energy healing

A practitioner-led energy-work session for rest and reflection.

All sessions are included in your retreat, and participation is always optional. These experiences are for relaxation and reflection, not medical care.

Arrive · Listen · Be · Unbecome · Carry It Home

The week, at its own pace

Seven days and six nights with a gentle arc from arriving, through noticing and releasing, to carrying one meaningful practice home. Special guests and speakers will join group meals, bringing conversation and guidance throughout the week. Guided moments are invitations, not obligations.

The itinerary may change slightly. We will share the final itinerary a few months before the retreat.

Each morning after arrival

A moment to arrive

A five-minute reflection prompt for anyone who wants to notice how they are arriving that day.

Each evening

One gentle question

A quiet invitation to ask, “What stayed with me today?” Guests can reflect privately or share if they choose.
